Advanced Diagnostic Imaging
Imaging is a critical, non-invasive tool that helps us see what’s happening inside your pet’s body.
Digital Radiographs (X-rays): This tool allows us to see a snapshot of the internal organs. X-rays are often used to detect foreign body ingestion, urinary bladder stones, abdominal or chest tumors, changes in the size and shape of the heart, lung changes that could indicate cancer or pneumonia, and many other disease processes.
Ultrasound: Ultrasound provides a real-time view of the abdominal organs, allowing us to assess their structure and identify abnormalities that may not be visible on X-rays.
Expert Network and Referrals
For the most comprehensive care, we collaborate with external reference laboratories for specialized testing. When needed, we also consult with board-certified radiologists to review imaging results, ensuring your pet benefits from an expert opinion.
